The franchise of the chennai super kings is currently owned by India Cements company, who bet for US$91 million to acquire the rights to the franchiseof the chnnai super kings for 10 years in 2008. N. Srinivasan, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of India Cements Ltd.Krishnamachari Srikkanth, former captain of the Indian Cricket Team, is the brand ambassador for the franchise at present,India Cements Limited is a cement manufacturing company in India. It was established in 1946 and the first plant was set up at Sankarnagar in Tamil Nadu in 1949.The company is headed by Mr.N.Srinivasan, Vice Chairman and Managing Director.
